Situation Doesn't Matter!
Hi friends! Hope ya'll are fine. Today, we gonna see something new which many of you not heard of. We all need help in certain situations, but most of the times we won't get help and we manage or get over it by ourselves. When someone needs help, we would tell him/her that we are unable to help them or we are not in the situation to help them. But as the title suggests, we can help anyone nevertheless of our difficult situation when we concern about their difficulties much.
We all know what happened to the ship 'Titanic'. We all thought that it was helpless in the middle of the ocean when it was sinking. But will you believe if I say that there were 3 ships roaming on the ocean when titanic was sinking? Yes it's true. Three of them knew that there was a ship sinking near them. But what you think they would have done to titanic?
First ship, called SAMSON, which was 7 miles away from the Titanic. They saw the flares signalling danger, but they didn't help titanic since they were hunting seals illegally and didn't want to be caught. So they went away from titanic in the opposite side of the ocean. This ship represents the people who feel guilt for their sins and hence they don't help anyone and try to be away from that situation.
Second ship, called The CALIFORNIAN, Which was just 14 miles away from titanic. But they saw ice fields surrounding them, and they thought they can't do anything for the sinking titanic. The people of the ship went to sleep and said 'Tomorrow morning, we try to reach there and see what we can do for them'. Till then,the captain and his crew convinced themselves that nothing would have happened to titanic. This ship represents the people who think themselves that they can't do anything or situations seems unfavorable to them to help like that, without trying or finding way to help the needy.
The last ship, called CARPATHIA, which was almost 58 miles opposite to the Titanic, heard the cries of people through radio of titanic.The captain, Arthur Rostron,without wasting a minute, prayed to God for direction and turned the ship's direction towards titanic. With the speed of 17 knots, he quickly headed to the spot of where people were suffering. Only because of the ship's presence, 705 lives of people were saved on that day.
This ship represents the people, who never fails to help others who need help nevertheless of thier difficult situations. So let's all do something that we can do for someone who are in uphill battle, both physically and mentally! Lets all try to be like CARPATHIA!
